Job Description:

We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our growing team in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the continued integration of Salesforce into our internal processes to increase scalability and efficiencies. The Administrator serves as the primary system administrator, handling all basic administrative functions as well as working closely with other departments to identify, develop and deploy new business processes incorporating Salesforce best practices. The Administrator architects, configures, documents, trains, and implements cross-functional solutions that improve the reliability and usability of Salesforce.

Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary system administrator for Salesforce environment
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, create workflows, basic coding, write formulas and rules and other routine tasks
  • Establish ongoing business process standards related to data cleanup, system administration and security
  • Manage data feeds and other integrations
  • Manage Salesforce API integration
  • Work closely with team to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes
  • Effectively act as liaison between and collaborate with users, vendors, consultants, and development partners
  • Assess new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will impact all affected teams/users
  • Log and track identified system problems and work with Salesforce team through resolution
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate as necessary to remain within stated intervals
  • End User training
  • Evaluate and report on emerging technologies and trends
  • Produce specific detailed reports as necessary
  • Perform any additional tasks as directed by Management

Experience and Skills:

Competencies:

  • Expert Salesforce Administrator
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of various levels of complexity
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex Salesforce concepts
  • Experience with middleware technologies (Dell Boomi preferred)
  • Strong data management and analysis abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Information Systems or related field is preferred

Experience:

  • Salesforce Administration experience: 3+ years
  • Programming experience
  • Experience with SQL
  • Familiarity with Pardot is a bonus
  • Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Required License(s)/Certification(s):

Current Salesforce Administrator certification, Salesforce ADM-211 or DEV 450 preferred.
